Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has announced a scheduled power maintenance exercise affecting parts of five counties on Friday, September 26.
According to information posted on the power provider's website, the temporary electricity disruptions are expected to last up to eight hours. In the public notice issued under Rule 27 of the Electric Power Rules, KPLC stated that the interruptions are necessary to facilitate routine maintenance, upgrade power lines, connect new customers, and support infrastructure changes such as road construction.
